Overview
"Harho has been a helpful companion in my growing journey. While I may not answer all the questions in the quiz or login to the app, the reminders keep me on track. It’s a great tool for both beginners and experienced gardeners like me."

Briagh’s experience with Harho highlights the platform’s adaptability to a wide range of users, including those with existing growing expertise. It shows that user engagement can vary based on individual preferences and knowledge levels. Harho values Briagh’s input and will use it to enhance the user experience for growing enthusiasts like her.

Key call outs

  • Growing activity took place at University
  • Briagh enjoyed the close connection to the daily experience
  • Even an experienced gardener can benefit from daily alerts & reminders
  • As part of a society has pushed Harho forward to the wider University
  • Wanted to be challenged within the app to drive further use
  • In April 2024 Harho delivered to the above point with an education centre which had a variety of questions which would challenge and enhance even expert gardeners.

Daily Usage & Engagement
Daily Usage and Notifications:

While Briagh had an in depth understanding of growing, she did not use the Harho app as frequently as some other users. Nevertheless, she valued the app’s daily notifications, especially for reminding her to water her plants and complete the checklist. These reminders aligned with her busy student schedule.

Engagement with the App:

Briagh’s interaction with the app was different from some users. She primarily used it as a tool for practical reminders rather than for answering daily questions. This behaviour led to fewer points accumulation and a lower streak. Briagh’s experience challenges the assumption that active app usage is the sole indicator of a user’s enjoyment.

Data Insights:

The data from Briagh’s usage provided valuable insights into user behaviour. It revealed that higher growing knowledge, like Briagh’s, could lead to less app engagement, as experienced users might not rely on the app for extensive guidance. This information helps Harho refine its user engagement strategies.
